My loving wife pulled out more embroidery magic last night. Knowing I haven't had a decent dice bag for pretty much forever, she decided she would make me one. She had already made some for her and the girls that day while I was at work and so had figured it all out.
I picked a nice black velvetine fabric for the basic back and a red drawstring and then went through her various embroidery patterns. Finding somethign that I liked, I spent a bit of time customizing the colors on the pattern and had her zip it out onto the fabric. My name in red and a few stitches and WHAM, a new home for all the dice I've been trying desperately to hold onto.
I like it.
It is very much my style.

rad.
ReplyDeletei admit to have using this comment before. :)
That is just sooooo cool. Your bound to roll high now that your dice have a custom made home to live in.
ReplyDeleteVerey nice.
ReplyDeleteMy, she is talented, isn't she? :D
That's awesome! Any chance to purchase custom work?
ReplyDeleteI see Minions dicebags in the future!
ReplyDeleteTainted minds think alike...
ReplyDeleteThanks folks. You brought a smile to her face with your praise and kind words.
ReplyDeleteShe is awesome and one of the first things she asked me was, "Do you think any of your friends would want one?"

Kewl.
ReplyDeleteI just use a leather whiskey bag.
Dude,
ReplyDeleteThat's AWESOME!
She is very talented. : )
Wow, I just now read this post. I am blown away by your new dice bag. Looking at my cruddy, aged, and stained Crown Royal bag now makes me cringe...
ReplyDeleteDoes she take commissions? If she doesn't she should consider it.
As cool as it is and not to detract from her skills. The bag is the part that was made by hand. The embroidered bit is from a purchased and color-customized pattern. Of course you need to know how to set up, run and monitor the machine so it works right.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about commisions but I could always ask.
