So, the project has finally come full circle. The Uhul, the first figures I ever sculpted, were picked up by 15mm.co.uk and are now available for purchase. I love the paint job they gave them. They really captured the look of owls.
Also coming soon from 15mm.co.uk are four alien civilians that I sculpted. These four figures represent various non-combatants to add to your starport or alien colony. Though they have been deigned with specific themes in mind, they are generic enough to represent really any civilian role.
This has been fun and I look forward to getting more out there.

I will be getting some! Nicely done Eli!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome, congratulations! Like I said...#21 on the list!
ReplyDeleteI love the owl men. I think you sell yourself short in your description of your own ability. They are very evocative. This entire project has been very inspirational to me. I used to love sculpting things in clay and carving wooden animals when I was a child - you have started some gears turning...
ReplyDeleteOh, and how apropos - my word verification capcha is "props". I have to give you props, good sir!
That is awesome Eli, congratulations! Those paint jobs look great too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words and support guys.
ReplyDeleteWish I could claim those paint jobs as mine, but they are the studio painter's work from 15mm.co.uk..
Still, they do capture the feel of the various subject matter.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
ReplyDeleteYou've been working really hard on these, they look great!
I love those figs Eli. I think they are very dynamic poses and have alot of character. Bravo! The owl men remind me of Ewoks a bit and I was planning on trying to find some of the old Greeneyed Miniatures not-Ewoks but I think these would work quite well for my Star Wars in 15mm project. Kudos Eli!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking good.
ReplyDeleteCongratiolated! You first SHM sculpts are better than mine!
ReplyDeleteCool Eli!
ReplyDeleteThe first of many I think...
;)
This is great Eli! Congratulations! Did you do the paint job?
ReplyDeleteNah, those are studio paint jobs :)
ReplyDeleteWow Bother! Way to go! congvrats!
ReplyDelete"you suck!" "Why are you wasting your time on this garbage?" "Why don't you do something useful?"
ReplyDeleteBLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
Now that your doubts have been terminated with extreme prejudice (I used the hollowpoints, just in case.), realize this, bro: You are doing some good work.
Keep it up!
