I have also received several plastic Wargames Factory Saxons which I am converting for use as Vikings. These are receiving some green stuff hair and beard enhancements to make them look a little more Scandinavian and less Anglo-Saxon. I would have ordered actual Viking figs, but they were horribly back-ordered. To help with their conversion, I also picked up a lot of 40 round shields on EBay.
Fun stuff to work on.

ReplyDeleteI like the AT-43 minis, they'd work really well with all the 15mm sci-fi that's coming out.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to find the right armaments for them. I took off all the over-sized weapons mounted on their arms.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to arm them with some sort of 20mm or 28mm modern weapon with a little scifi drag added. If I could find a 28mm FAMAS or P90 I'd be set.

Great idea using these as 15mm combat walkers. They look excellent if painted up with rust and weathering. You might find some of the Old Crow models 6mm weapons packs are ideal for the weapons (with some work).
ReplyDeleteI love the AT-43 and have a bunch of TACARMs figs. Dont have any spare or I'd use them for WWW2 German walkers!
