I realize things have been a bit quiet on the ol' ISLP blog of late. One of the reasons is my budding miniatures company - Loud Ninja Games. We just launched our second 15mm science fiction Kickstarter project.

Loud Ninja Games Available and Going to Salute 2014

Hey folks, so my miniatures range is life and available - HERE.. The full range of Chuhuac "Space Raptors" can be found there including all 15mm infantry, support and vehicle codes along with the 28mm infantry squad.

There are also unit deals available such as RAP004P Chuhuac Herd. There are also deals for smaller units, grav bikes, APCs and battlesuits.

Also, I am thrilled to announce that Loud Ninja Games will be going with 15mm.co.uk to it's first convention ever. It's a big one too! Those of you in the UK or other attending SALUTE 2014, come see us at the 15mm.co.uk stand (TF07). The entire range will be on hand there and you can look and buy our nifty space lizards to terrify your tabletop opponents.

Loud Ninja Games Goes Live 3-10-2014

It's been a long time in the making but my entry into the realm of miniatures producer is at hand. 

It all started with an idea ten-ish years ago that seemed simple but that seemed to fall on deaf ear. With the encouragement of a few others, I then decided to try to make the idea happen on my own which then evolved into a Kickstarter. That Kickstarter grew farther than my experience was prepared for and it took over a year to get everything into place. Finally, I am there.

In partnership with 15mm.co.uk, Loud Ninja Games will open its doors for business with the full range of Chuhuac "Space Raptors". All eleven (11) codes produced by the Kickstarter along with 5 unit deals will be offered for regular retail. These will be sold through 15mm.co.uk on the LNG page at their site. This will take place Monday, March 10, 2014.

Make no mistake, LNG is still my baby, it's just got some good caretakers to help it grow. Gavin Syme and the folks at 15mm.co.uk have been there every step of the way and have shared in all the work getting the Chuhuac to where they are today. I am a creator and designer and they are pros at sales and production so together we can make my ideas jump on to your table.

So cool I had to show it off here too!

Jared Blando did the above rendition of the Chuhuac attack bikes for the range of 15mm miniatures I'm developing for my company Loud Ninja Games. I think it is dead sexy and with the Kickstarter campaign for this project over the halfway mark, it seemed the perfect piece of spice to jazz up the stream of announcements and updates.

Original Sculpted Miniature For Sale!

In an effort to raise a little money for my budding miniatures company, I have decided to sell off this one-off sculpt I did. Every little bit helps and it's a great chance to give something fun to the folks who have become a fan of my sculpting or somebody looking for something unique to add to their collection.

The miniature is a big mega-mutant, super zombie, Resident Evil sort of thing with all sorts of freakish appeal. Dire eyes, lolling tongue, extended grasping arm and vicious spiked arm. This sculpt is one of the first I ever did once I took the plunge, but it was not really viable for production as the posing made it too oddly angled and arranged for proper molding. The sculpt has been mounted in a one inch wooden disk textured with grit and some scenic effects (half-buried pipe and barrel) making it suitable for use in zombie apocalypse or post-apocalyptic type games. 

I'm not going to throw this thing up on EBay or anything, and am hoping to get around $50 OBO (I'd love to get more but I know things are tight) for this one of a kind sculpt. I will consider offers until the end of August and then it will either go to the best offer or back into my collection. Shipping will be calculated based on method and where the buyer lives.

As I mentioned at the top of the post, the money from this sale will go toward getting Loud Ninja Games off the ground. I've already got the ball rolling, but this can add a little bit of speed to the roll.
