FREE STYLE SCULPTING
I have decided that I need to do some "for fun"
sculpting.
Most of my sculpting these days is done for the purpose of
specific projects that either myself or another party has initiated with
particular ideas in mind. This is cool and all but I haven't done an
off-the-cuff sculpt really since I started a couple years back.
This new project will be completely from scratch and without
concept. Pictured below is the starting point for three sculpts that will be
designed as a set along a common design and theme that will develop out of my
imagination and without any pre-planning.
Yes, very vague. But that's the point!
Somehow, from this simple beginning, I shall create three new miniatures that will depict a trio of like-themed characters or creatures. It could be a simple grouping of wild alien beasts. Or maybe, they will be the first three poses of a new alien race.

Sweet! I can see them at this stage as "Illuminator" plants. The could have the properties of a lamp used by troops, explorers, miners, indigenous cave beings, etc.
