So, lately I have found myself drawing again. This time I am trying my hand at illustrations. Simple, some might say crude, little drawings of the sort that might fill the corners, margins and empty space of a game book. It's bun fun and I feel I am developing a style, though I'd never claim to be as good as any of the great game illustrators. None of these are really intended to be looked at all that closely, so PLEASE be kind and don't explode them into huge size [thank you :)].

I really like these! There's a lot of movement and animation to them!
ReplyDeleteGood Stuff!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteChad, I thought as illustrations they should convey some sort of action or story element, even if its a bit abstracted out of context.
No matter how hard I try, I cannot get the black to fill properly when I color it in. Also, the scanning seems to pick it out and make it look worse.
Great doodles!
ReplyDeleteI really like these, especially the last one!
ReplyDeleteThey look great to me. I have paid money for gaming books with worse art.
ReplyDeleteNice doodles indeed!
ReplyDeleteGood work Eli!
ReplyDeleteThese are really well done. Good character and dynamic poses. My sketches always look so stiff.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the kind words and encouragement. I do not have aspirations of greatness but I do hope to use some of my stuff for somethign "greater" some day.
