Yes, indeed it is!
This little bit of accent drop-terrain is a combination of bits and pieces of balsa, brass tubing, model kits parts and even some metal hardware fittings all piled over a broken up Clix robot. All together they forms a nice heap of garbage that can be added to any layout to enhance the feel and provide some tactical details like cover and obstacles.
This is a super easy bit of terrain to do and you can do a bunch of them and they can add so much character to a battlefield.

ReplyDeleteYes, I like this one very much. Just the job Eli!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that, Eli! Super nice job.
ReplyDeleteShe may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid! Nice work. I find it's really hard to get that authentically chaotic look with either natural scenes, or piles of human debris.
ReplyDeleteThe secret is really in learning to mess up your best laid plans.
DeleteI started with the centerpiece of the trash heap, the robot. One I had this arranged the way I wanted, it was then time to mess it up by laying lings in, around, under and even over the robot so it looked like it had been there a while.
That's quite good Eli.
ReplyDeleteOoh look there's a lovely bit of thrash over there!
ReplyDeleteJust what every autonomous collective needs. B-)
Cracking job.
