Wife got back from the National Massage Therapy Conference today bearing a few gifts. This year the event was held in Portland, OR where there is an amazing book store called Powells that occupies and entire city block. She was kind enough to pick up a few things off my wish list as well as a neat little treat.

ReplyDeleteShe is pretty cool. Though I had only asked her to pick up Volume two, which I hadn't got. I hadn't realized they had been released in paperback yet and had I know, would have had her pick up volume 1 while hse was at it.

ReplyDeleteI live in Portland (for all intents and purposes) and I will vouch for the awesomeness that is Powells. It's like a book mega-dungeon with levels and sub-levels and secret rooms.
ReplyDeleteThe only "bad" thing about it is that their workers don't give any bargains on pricing used gaming stuff.
But for literature/books that can inspire creating your own gaming stuff, bargains abound.
