Space: 1889 Resurrected!

As the resident VSF-fanatic, I have some very exciting news to share, and a new(ish) blog by the game's creator, Frank Chadwick. The blog, appropriately called Frank Chadwicks Space: 1889.

The newest information is that a new line of 15mm (YES!) Space: 1889 minis will be produced by Highlander Studios, headed up by Rodrick Campbell, who has done work for Rebel Minis and Khurasan Miniatures among others. Also, some 1:1200 scale vessels will be produced as well.

If you're not stoked by this, well, you don't love VSF.

  1. I am starting to plan a couple 15mm VSF armies. I am also looking forward to getting some more 1:1200 airships for SGOM.

  2. Which armies are you planning out, Colonel?

  3. Ooh, ooh! Excited? Most definitely. It's even better that the figures will be 15mm. I hope they fit in with my Black Hat Martians.

  4. Ruaridh: Exactly my feelings. I imagine that they will somewhat fit in, but the Black Hats may be a bit taller, technically being 18mm. Of course, the High Martians are stunted in their growth as a result of poor diet...

  5. This is great news! I like Highlander's Conquistadwarves.
