Hey folks,
It's that time of year again where we eat and drink too much and find ourselves scampering like ants to get everything done that we tell ourselves we have to do to make it all worth it. Last night proved that it doesn't take much.
My gaming buddies are also my closest friends like to get together for holiday parties. These usually involve eating, drinking and gaming. The gaming fair is most often board games and card games, the sorts of things you can play in large groups or in teams. Occasionally we'll sneak in a Black Friday game day (not this year though) or something for the regular gaming group.
I think it's a great way to reconnect to folks. It's easy to turn regular friends who are also your gaming friends into just your gaming friends, getting together only for game nights and conventions. But these guys and their families have been there for the better chunk of my adult life and I hope to keep them around.
So, here is to all my friends both near and far and I wish you all a wonderful and safe run through the holidays.
Experience will be handed out at the end of the adventure...

The season will be upon you soon enough, buddy.

Definitely need to replace your profile pic with this one! There's something universal about grey-bearded geeks in Captain America shirts!
